Infosec Girls was an idea started by Apoorva Giri and Shruthi Kamath.
The objective is to increase the number of women in Information Security and to keep them up to date on the events happening so that they can actively participate.Our Aim is to provide support and mentorship within the community for Women.
Why this initiative ?
Currently a balanced perspective in information security is missing. We feel doing such events will help bring about gender equality in the field of cyber security. We all know fundamentals of InfoSec is the new baseline and we want to do our bit in spreading awareness.
