Today’s energy consumption has reached its maximum limits.
Demand is ever increasing and supply as we know is less. Resources are depleting at an exponential rate or in other words we are eating up the earth.Mines that once were once rich in precious metals are no more.Petrol,diesel and other hydrocarbon fuels may deplete in next 50-60 years. Of late,Optimisation of energy usage has gained critical importance.Solutions suggested through research so as to achieve this goal of minimal and efficient usage of energy include, the use of renewable sources of energy such as solar energy ,wind energy ,etc. As a first step towards this , attention is given on efficient usage of energy at home.
