on April 22, the Indian telecom regulators are preparing to recommend to change the internet freedom that we have now in India.
They would like to charge you based on the sites that you access- for eg, they could charge you higher rates for using Youtube, or charge you for using whatsapp. Based on no logic, according to their whims and fancies and profit motives.
US, Netherlands and other countries have decided against this, and voted for net neutrality.
In india sadly not many even know about this issue.
