dark net.

The Dark Web, also confusingly referred to as the Deep Web and conflated with Deep Web search is the World Wide Web content that exists on darknets, overlay networks which use the public Internet but which require specific software, configurations or authorization to access.

The basic tools of accessing the dark web are accessible to all on the surface web – aka the internet.

Even P2P is technically a type of darknet. And almost all of us have used bittorrent or other tools for downloading perfectly legal contents (Your favourite fedora or ubuntu ISO).

In this session, am going to talk about the better known tool of getting on the dark web – The Onion Router browser or the TOR browser. While you can use a tor browser for generally browsing the surface web and maintain some amount of anonymity, the TOR browser is your gateway to the dark web.

In this session, I will be talking a bit about the technology and ideology of the TOR browser, and then tell you how to use it to start your journey onto the deep web.
