Entrepreneurship without leaving job- Feasible?

Job security is must for most of us and at some stage in job the employer takes us for granted. The zeal to do something creative in life gets buried in us due to financial constraints or obligations. Is there any way a programmer or creative employee can look at entrepreneurship [only by taking an hour load at most per week and while keeping the job] and give himself/ herself a realistic chance to become a millionaire. The speaker has worked for four half years in USA and then joined Biomedical industry and worked for seven years. Now he joined academic and would like to project India specific models for entrepreneurship. Speaker has 3 products in the market and another 3 in pipeline, won 5 international awards and his students have won 13 awards including last year’s “MIT under 35 Innovator of the year award”.

Aim of Talk: A mechanism for you to “Start a company while you are employed with minimal effort, zero money”

Business Idea: It can be yours/ours or evolved over time

Does it cost me money: No, We just want you to mentor our student team to realize a product in the market

Time/ bench work: One hour per week from you, 10-12 hours per week from student team

Profit share: You tell us, we will listen

Why student team: Students have young legs, incredible enthusiasm, You know it- remember your student days

Overall idea in a sentence: We come up with an idea, you mentor the student team to realize the product, Ownership shared- Start a company while you are employed with minimal effort
