2.0 is not about reinventing the wheel,
it’s not about developing a XYZ site
that provides the traditional web
solutions. Rather it’s about integration
of the existing services and providing user a better interface to interact with.
Hpricot is a ruby gem that allows you
to parse/scrap in any HTML/XML documents. It will be interesting to see how Hpricot does it, what are the various methods of fethcing or modifying the HTML/XML for an element, and the limitations of it!

will you be able to also hit a few http clients? have never been able to get the html in the first place from a lot of security (read certificates) protected sites via ruby http clients.
