This session tries to explore various ways, a techie could work on Wikipedia, than mere editing and adding content to Wikipedia.

General notion is that Contributing to Wikipedia requires you to add content and/or edit existing content. But this adding of content is seen as mere typing some stuff out of your mind based on some reference.
But little is known about the back-end working of Wikipedia – Mediawiki.
And some handy tools that would make contributing to Wikipedia more fun and add a programming/learning part to it.

Session difficulty level: Intro/101
