Software for Social Good: Improving the Electoral System

The electoral rolls of the country have deplorable quality. Many voters disenfranchised due to errors in the data. Lakhs of voters are being deleted without due diligence while the rolls are replete with fake and duplicate entries. Some landmark improvements and corrections happened during the past ten years due to our intervention. The cases could be taken up by proving the errors with data analysis.
The talk will discuss what we could achieve and what we can do to further improve the quality and efficiency of the system.
