Creating Technologies for the next Agro Revolution

In this talk I will introduce Aquaponics- Growing food & fish in controlled environments and the technologies that go behind it. I will talk about the UN’s 2030 Global SDG goals, one of which is Food security, purity & sovereignty for all. We will look at setting up an indoor farm- right from a balcony scale to a hectare-scale plantation. We will discuss a suite of sensors that help us achieve a high data intelligence factor- from temperature, pH, turbidity, air quality etc to image analysis for plant & fish growth. We will delve the IOT & RPA suite involved- from flow control, nutrient distribution and fail-safes: all in the context of the data generated and control algorithms used.
