The last few years have seen a massive jump in the availability of ‘happiness’ resources – Ivy League universities offering courses on happiness, happiness curricula in government schools, state governments even introducing entire departments dedicated to it.

In this session, the speaker will engage the audience in a discussion about ‘happiness’ as a social and cultural trend, what makes us happy, and what is really problematic about being focused on happiness.
