Raspberry Pi – Why you should have one at home

Raspberry Pi is pretty awesome computer IMHO. I have one running on my home network. It can just be your own private linux server for all your wants, which can connect to your TV for entertainment.

Here are a few things I have been able to run off it.

1. PiHole – https://pi-hole.net/ – Adblockers on my network.

2. AnyRemote – http://anyremote.sourceforge.net/ – To control the system from my phone.

3. IceCoder – https://icecoder.net/ – Your friendly web editor for all the remote code editing you want to do.

4. NodeJS – because u can 🙂

5. PHP – because node is running ;-P

I am sure there are more things we can do as I have just scratched the surface here. Lets talk about those during this session. Also feel free to leave a comment about many other things we can do.
