In January 2025, I started building a wiki to document various resources about repair-friendly consumer hardware products in India. Little did I know how much it would resonate with people.

Over just a weekend, more than 150,000 people engaged with the announcement and quickly 500+ users gathered in a whatsapp community. Since then, the wiki has been improving steadily and even industry-experts have started pitching in.

In this session, I will share the journey so far and the road ahead for this crowdsourcing project.
