Hopefully, in the coming months, the broad contours of the decadal census will be announced. The reapportionment and delimitation of Lok Sabha seats will follow. This is a contentious issue as the Southern states could see their political power in the Lok sabha considerably diminished. This has generated much debate and controversy. What does this mean for the country? How should the Southern States approach this? In this session, we lay out the problem and propose possible pathways
