If there is something that ChatGPT can’t do (yet!) – it’s building real physical things.

Hop into this introductory session for a gentle introduction into building your own “things” – physical electronic objects. I will gently walk you through the basic building blocks for building your own thing, and explain how things work under the hood.  To keep things simple, we’ll see how an electronic name badge is built.

While the talk is generic in nature, there will be some focus on the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller – which is setting a new benchmark in terms of an easy to use, low cost platform with a supportive user community.
